Board of Directors

As a non-profit organization, The Children's Center is guided by a Board of Director comprised of volunteers. Board members share their time, talents, and enthusiasm to guide our mission, provide financial oversight, ensure compliance, approve policies, and act as ambassador's of our program within the community.

Open Positions:

We are currently looking to fill (3) at-large board positions in early 2025. In addition to bimonthly meetings, Board members serve on committees (Executive, Finance, Fundraising, or Property) which meet on off-months or as-needed to complete specific projects throughout the year. This is an exciting, transformational time for our organization and a wonderful opportunity for seasoned board members, retired volunteers, and young professionals alike to make a significant difference through our small (but growing!) nonprofit. Helpful skills include financial knowledge, experience with human resources, knowledge of nonprofit law, and experience with fundraising and grantwriting. However, anyone with a desire to serve and a personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is strongly encouraged to reach out.
